About us
Dayslice powers social-first services businesses by automating scheduling, payment, customer management, and lightweight marketing.
For many of our users, Dayslice is the empowering reason they’ve been able to move off of services marketplaces, stop paying the marketplace take-rate for every hour they work, and finally own their book of business! Our mission is to make it easy for anyone to independently spin up and grow their services business.
Here are some quotes from existing paid users about our product:
“Dayslice allows me to add a more personal touch to my tutoring business. Booking has been easy and convenient and I appreciate the integration with my Google Calendar to save time recording requested sessions. Billing has been seamless as well. I would definitely recommend Dayslice to anyone looking to streamline their tutoring business!” - David W., math tutor
“As a sole proprietor, Dayslice has been a game changer. I’m no longer chasing down tuition and acting as the go-between for rescheduling. It’s completely self-service. Thanks Dayslice!” - Phil C., music teacher
We’ve raised $6M from Upfront Ventures, Founder Collective, as well as a set of exciting angels like Claire Hughes Johnson, the COO of Stripe. As a team, we have extensive experience founding and building early stage companies. Learn more about our team here.
About you
- You are excited to wear multiple hats within marketing (ranging from writing copy and working on positioning to running and scaling experiments across multiple channels.)
- You have experience acquiring and marketing to small businesses (bonus: small services businesses.)
- You are comfortable getting into the nitty-gritty and doing IC-level work to push the ball forward. Although this role comes with a budget for contractors and agencies, we don’t anticipate hiring another full-time marketing position until we hit certain milestones.
- You have worked in earlier stage startups (bonus: you’ve been a first marketer at a company) and have experience marketing SaaS products.
- You are passionate about building an acquisition machine which ultimately relies on sustainable, organic approaches (community, SEO, etc.) versus purely reliant on paid ads.
- You have a strong sense of urgency and empathy in everything you do.
Responsibilities
- Own the creation and execution of Dayslice’s marketing strategy.
- Partner closely with the CEO to scale awareness and acquisition of service providers. Your responsibilities will range from high-altitude (strategy) to low-altitude (implementing tactics) as well as external (managing agencies or contractors if need be.)
- Start up and scale acquisition initiatives such as SEO, community nurture, and influencer partnerships (with the help of agencies as needed.)
- Own, implement, and measure our paid ad strategy across Tiktok, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Drive company-wide conversations around value prop positioning and brand.
